All children start in super playful entry level programs for their age group, and as soon as a child reaches a certain level of maturity, they are promoted to the next training program.

​The teaching methodologies used by our program are unlike anything else in jiu-jitsu. Not only are all the entry level techniques presented in the form of "jiu-jitsu" games so that the children are very excited to learn them, but we also use positive teaching instead of negative teaching.

When a child makes a mistake, we don't focus on the mistake, but instead emphasize the correctly executed aspects of the movement. Through this carefully layered positive reinforcement, we help children reach their full potential without jeopardizing their love of art.

The objective of Juan M. Nieves is to train people to be prepared for any type of attack at any given moment using Commando Krav Maga, thus give people a real since of security.

The program incorporates training methods to build men and women fighting spirit and to train them how to respond both mentally and physically in a time of need, eliminating the danger of "freezing" or "shutdown" in fighting.

You will receive hands on training in real locations, ATMs, parking lots, etc. and will experience what a real attack feels like.








 

Our classes for women focus on rape prevention techniques and tactics. Learn to spot signs of danger and how to defend yourself when there are no signs of danger.

This program teaches you how to defend yourself against common attacks, including ground combat and when facing a weapon. We emphasize realistic scenarios and realistic defenses! The program has been carefully developed. The class deals specifically with how and where women are commonly attacked.  

Women are taught to safely and effectively defend themselves against an attacker with punches, elbows, knees, and kicks. More importantly, women learn to defend themselves against worst case scenarios, i.e. they are already in a bear hug, or being strangled, standing or on the ground.
