Moni Aizik – Fundador de Commando Krav Maga Biografía:

Moni began his training in Judo and Jujitsu at the age of 8 years with Opa Schutte, who was 2 generations after the founder of Judo Kodokan, Jigoro Kano. Throughout his youth, Moni virtually dominated Israel's competitive landscape, winning 7 national titles. Determined not to opt for an Olympic future, in the last years of his adolescence, he opted to use his energy to become a member of one of the most sophisticated and clandestine military units in the world, responsible for intelligence operations and counterterrorism even after enemy lines.

In the 1970s, Moni was required to improve the existing hand-to-hand combat system in the Navy, using his extensive knowledge in Judo of competition and in Jujitsu based on reality, specifically for the use of his special forces. Unifying the lethal trilogy of Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu and Judo, he founded this new system, which was eventually called in his Civil version Combat Survival. Therefore, a factor that has always separated Moni Aizik from the traditional instructors of Krav Maga is his deep and wide knowledge in other effective defense systems.

After finishing his foray into the military, he often traveled to Japan to study magic America with the world champions of Judo and Sambo Isao Okano and Katsuhiko Kashiwazaki. At this time, his club in Israel Maccabi Tel Aviv, became the national training center and was the hotbed that eventually produced the first Olympic medalist and World Silver Medalist in Judo, Yael Arad.

Moving to North America in the '80s, he went on to demonstrate his skills in both Elite Instruction and business, thus establishing one of the most successful schools in Canada, the Samurai Club, which was home to another generation of world champions and arts. mixed martial artists, including UFC champion Carlos Newton, Japanese Shoot star, Joe Gerson, and many others. The Samurai Club literally dominated all competitions, whether National or Provincial, where they sent their fighters. The reason is that Jiu Jitsu is as big as Canada and is primarily to the foundations of the fighters (Including Mark Bocek, Omar Salvosa, etc) who are considered the best Grapplers of the reality based styles in the whole country.

However, what distinguishes Moni from the majority of Instuctores in general is not only his ability to detect talent and develop it in a variety of disciplines, as well as his talent in getting a champion in an average person, helping him to reach physical levels and mental problems that they were never able to achieve. His most recent success is the EDGE COMBAT FITNESS in which he is co-owner with his student Joel Gerson, located in North Toronto, in Concord, Notari.
